I love making complicated
things feel simple.

Whether I'm designing software training, documenting a process, writing a guide, or experimenting with a brand new AI tool, I'm happiest when I'm helping someone go from "I have no idea," to "I've got this!"

Learning should feel empowering, not overwhelming. That's the idea behind every project I build.

Highlights of my Professional Journey

Education
and Writing

Student deveolopment, teaching, composition, academic advising, and library science defined my early career.

Communications

From newsletters to public relations, I learned how thoughtful writing and design make complicated information easy to understand.

Design and Multimedia

My communications career took on a focus on publications, web design, and accessibility — particularly in support of higher education.

Instructional Design

Eventually, I found a profession that combined everything I loved: writing, design, technology, psychology, and teaching.

I haven't looked back!

Leadership and Strategy

Today, I lead
e-learning strategy, mentor designers, champion accessibility, and build learning systems that scale with organizations.

How I Work

Learners First

I start with the people using the training, their learning environment, and what they need to achieve for themselves and their organization.

Curious by Nature

New technology doesn't intimidate me. I enjoy experimenting, testing, and figuring out how new tools can improve learning.

Words Matter

My education in creative writing helps me explain difficult ideas with clarity, structure, and just enough personality to keep learners engaged.

Always Improving

Whether it's a course, a simulation, a style guide, or an AI-assisted workflow, I like creating systems that make future work better.
